Foliage & Outdoor Exploring

The Nine Mile Creek Trail is at its most scenic in September and October. Lined with mature hardwoods, the trail turns a brilliant gold and orange that rivals anywhere in the region. Centennial Lakes Park is equally spectacular — the lake reflects the fall colors and the surrounding paths are ideal for morning walks.

Braemar Golf Course is open through much of fall, and the course's rolling landscape takes on beautiful seasonal tones.

Fall into the Arts

Fall into the Arts is a beloved Edina community tradition — an outdoor arts and crafts fair held at Centennial Lakes Park each September.

The Edina Art Center mounts its fall gallery shows and opens registration for a wide range of classes and workshops. From ceramics to painting to photography, the Art Center is one of the most active community arts organizations in the metro.

Fall shopping at the Galleria and 50th & France is defined by new seasonal arrivals in fashion, home décor, and gifts. Many boutiques and specialty stores run fall trunk shows and promotional events. The holiday shopping season begins to ramp up in late October.
